Fair Sentencing for Youth Healing & Hope Celebration and Awards Ceremony

Healing & Hope is the annual CFSY awards reception and fundraiser, which will be held this year at Jones Day. It is always an evening of inspiration, as people directly impacted by the unconscionable sentence of life without parole share their stories.

In years past, we have honored Bryan Stevenson, executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative and the attorney who successfully argued Miller v. Alabama before the US Supreme Court; Fr.Greg Boyle, founder and executive director of Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles; Jason Baldwin of the West Memphis Three; Sara Kruzan, whose life-without-parole sentence was commuted in 2013 after international pressure; Participant Media, and others.
